Owner, Photographer & Dating Coach at Loving Focus

It's hard to give myself just one title! I'm a mom of two amazing humans, a photographer for over 20 years, a dating coach, and a hopeful romantic who believes everyone deserves love, and that there really is someone out there for everyone.

I was born and raised in Southern Illinois, spent a few years in Colorado growing my career in finance, and moved to the Tampa Bay area in 2020 to be close to family again. It's been home ever since.

Behind the Camera

I've been photographing people for more than 20 years, specializing in portraits: families, couples, engagements, children, singles, and personal branding.

My style is natural and relaxed. No stiff poses, except for those big family groups where everyone wants to be in the shot, and even then, I keep it fun and creative. I love using whatever's around us, like a beach at golden hour, a park, or your favorite local spot, to create photos that feel like you. The best photos happen when people feel comfortable being themselves.

I photograph sessions throughout Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough counties (travel fees may apply depending on location).

Beside You in Dating

After my divorce, I spent over seven years in the singles world, so I know firsthand how hard dating can be, especially online. Along the way, I kept getting compliments on my dating profiles and started helping friends improve theirs to get better-quality matches. Through my own dates and the singles groups I've been part of, I saw the same struggles again and again: people unsure where to start, where to go on a date, or which advice to trust.

My coaching is judgment-free and encouraging. I'll help you create a profile that shows the real you, plan dates that fit your personality and interests, and show up with confidence, so you attract someone who loves you for exactly who you are. I'm always learning, too, through books and trainings, so I can keep bringing my clients my best.

All coaching is virtual, so wherever you are, we can work together. Sessions can be a video chat or a voice-only call, whichever feels most comfortable for you.

Where the Two Meet

Photography and dating coaching might seem like an unusual pair, but for me they come from the same place. Behind the camera, I help people relax and let who they are shine through. In coaching, I help singles do the same thing in dating. Either way, my goal is to help you be truly seen.

That's why I offer singles everything they need to put their best selves forward: dating coaching, dating profile photos, and profile help. Your photos come from someone who knows exactly what works on a dating profile, and your profile gets written with the same care.

The Loving Focus Story

Loving Focus LLC officially launched in Florida in 2024, but it was years in the making. Every chapter of my life, from co-owning a gourmet pizza restaurant to building a career in finance to starting over as a single mom, brought me back to old passions and led me to new ones. Loving Focus is where they all come together.
